Service Learing

Service learing is a good way to contribute to the community. One thing that I was thinking about doing was city year. City year is a good experience, in this program you get to learn a lot and meet other student in different communities. Another thing that I think we could do was go to Children`s Hospital and read to the youger children. Also I think that we may be able to go to a nursing home to help out with the elders. One last idea that I have is maybe joining an after school program where you can help the children with their homework, or even helping out at a Daycare.

NHD

My topic for NHD was, Sheltering Fever Orphans. I chose to present this project as an exhibit. One of the things I really think I should have did was managed my time better . Something that I thoght was really good was, once I organized my project I asked one of my teachers to over look it to see if I should make any changes and then I glued the information down to the board. Although I really didn`t like howmy group worked together I think We did a great job. Next year I would suggest that we start earlier, chose people who are willing to work and not play.After completing this project I learned how Richard Allen and Absolam Jones help provide homes for the orphans
